Raptum Drops UK Rap Heater 'Inna'
Leyton-based emcee and producer, Raptum, has just dropped an ice-cold new single that's sure to fire you up.
Specialising in the self-coined genre of ‘Crud Groove’, 'Inna', is the first cut from Raptum's upcoming EP, 'CRUD', and is described by the artist as "the act of making the success of others the gossip of your life".
On 'Inna', Raptum makes his drive to succeed clear, with bars such as, "All the time that you're gazing/ Man I strive for the taking". It's a pacey, passionate contemplation on individualism, dedication and dream-chasing.
Reflecting on the creation of 'Inna', RAPTUM reveals, “The song’s concept has been in my creative orbit for years, as soon as I heard the beat, all of the words and scrapbook ideas just fell seamlessly into place”.
The rising rapper namechecks the likes of Missy Elliot and Dizzee Rascal as key inspirations for his music, but looks like it won't be long until Raptum is the name people are dropping.
