"I've officially made it": Charli XCX reacts to featuring in Aphex Twin's live visuals
Charli XCX has responded to Aphex Twin using her face for live visuals during his performance at Field Day festival over the weekend.
During the headline set at London’s Victoria Park on Saturday, the elusive producer used photos of XCX, the late pop producer SOPHIE, Dua Lipa, Stormzy and others with his face superimposed on them as part of his mind-bending visuals the show.
The pop singer took to X (Twitter) to share her reaction to the DJ using her photos during the performance, tweeting “I’ve officially made it” in response to a fan-captured footage of the moment.

Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their reactions over the visuals. One user said: “History within History,” while a different user shared: “Aphex collab when?”
In other news, Aphex Twin released a limited edition run of 12" vinyls to mark his headline performance at Field Day over the weekend - and they're already appearing online for a lot of money.
The Field Day-special 5-track vinyls were limited to a run of 100 copies and had sold out before the day had barely begun. They began to surface online not long after for hundreds of pounds higher than the original £5 asking price.
Aphex Twin released a similar limited edition vinyl when he headlined the festival back in 2017 - and they were just as hard to get a hold of back then.
One listing on eBay for the 2023 version is asking for £799, while a bidding war taking place on another listing currently sits at £520 with 5 bidders.
