TYSON Exudes Raw Energy on Wu Lu-Collaboration, 'GRUNGE'
TYSON has returned, dropping her new single 'GRUNGE', and announcing a new EP titled 'CHAOS', set for release on 15th November.
This bold new track marks a sonic shift for TYSON, merging punk-inspired energy with her signature soulful vocals, all backed by the raw intensity of multi-instrumentalist Wu-Lu.
TYSON explains that 'Grunge’ is about closing the chapter on an unrequited love. With co-writer and producer Oscar Scheller (Lady Gaga, PinkPantheress) at her side, TYSON embraces a new palette of guitars and unfiltered emotion, delivering a sound that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly daring.
'Grunge' offers a preview of the EP’s adventurous spirit. The 10-track project sees TYSON and Scheller delve deep into their longstanding creative chemistry, blending elements of ‘80s synthpop, 2-step, UK bass, and trip-hop to explore the turmoil of growing up, self-discovery, and mental health.
With TYSON stepping into this next chapter, 'CHAOS' promises to be an exhilarating journey, unveiling her evolution as an artist while paying homage to her complex roots and influences. As she embraces the chaos, we see her redefine herself—on her own terms.
'GRUNGE' is out now via LUCKYME.
