New London super-club DRUMSHEDS drops first headliners including Skepta, Jamie Jones, The Hydra and more
With two months until doors open, DRUMSHEDS today announce the first drop of heavy headliners and hosts for their opening season, which will be followed by a full line announcement in August.
The debut collection of names and partners are of the highest impact, including Gorgon City, Jamie Jones, Worried About Henry, Andy C, Más Tiempo presents Skepta and Jammer, Piano People, Major League Djz, The Hydra, Charlotte De Witte, La Discothèque, Paradise, BuggedOut!, and many more.
Drumsheds is a 15,000-capacity warehouse created and curated by Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks, The Beams and more.
Despite its close association with the recently closed Surrey Quays venue, the 608,000 square foot space claims to be “more impactful than anything London has seen” with the objective to “inspire, connect and create massive impact through music, culture and space”.
Located in Meridian Water in a former IKEA warehouse, Drumsheds promises to have a completely different concept and feel to The Drumsheds, a former nearby nightclub which shut its doors in 2022.
Speaking about the new venue, Director of Music at Broadwick Live, Ajay Jayaram, says: “DRUMSHEDS as a cultural project is about creativity and impact at scale. Some of music’s biggest artists, labels and brands are working with us to curate shows that are unparalleled in terms of size and production in the capital, offering our guests an experience unlike anything before.
"And we are really grateful to all of the artists and partners who have joined us on this inaugural journey, for their support and their willingness to step outside of their comfort zones to create something unique with the team Broadwick Live. We’re looking forward to sharing the full line-ups for the entire season opening season, at the end of August."
