luvseat enlists phonewifey, gaptoothv4mp and more on hyper-rap cut '¡ADIOS!'

Seattle-based transfeminine artist luvseat returns with an explosive new single ‘¡ADIOS!’, assembling a star-studded list of names from the underground experimental scenes on both sides of the Atlantic. 

Featuring London-based hyperpop staple phonewifey, 16-year-old US prodigy gaptoothv4mp, 04sam and Emags, the track follows the release of luvseat’s well-received ‘god complex’ album and is a powerful transgender/queer anthem blending fiery rap verses with glitchy hyperpop production. 

Blurring the lines of genre and gender simultaneously, luvseat has been making music for over 10 years already despite only being 18. During middle school, she taught herself to play guitar and piano with the help of YouTube tutorials before eventually diving head first into the world of Soundcloud rap, where she first discovered XXXTENTACION – someone the artist still cites as one of her biggest musical influences.

Now cultivating an audience of her own, the Las Vegas-born, Seattle-based creative has made use of her growing stature with this new offering, bringing together an all-star line up of talent to toast one of her biggest anthems to date.
