Lisa Lo navigates situationships with jazzy R&B number 'IDK'
Hailing from the pebbled shorelines of Brighton, rising singer-songwriter Lisa Lo reveals her anticipated new single 'IDK'.
'IDK' sees Lo navigate the confusing stages before a relationship officially starts, aiming to spread peaceful vibes with her healing and soulful tones.
“The song talks about trying to navigate through a situationship," says Lisa. "Finding it difficult to communicate or gauge whether the situationship can become a full commitment.“
The 22-year-old newcomer mines the edges of artists such as Erykah Badu and Corrine Bailey Rae, combining her love for jazz and R&B to helm her very own melodic style.
Working together with a trusted group of producers and writers - including Steven Bamidele, Dave Bryce and Tom Jordan - Lisa has carved out a very own lane for herself.
“I came through with an idea and had been wanting to collaborate/work with Steven for a while," she adds. "Tom and Dave have played with me at gigs on numerous occasions and have been able to identify and establish my particular style and helped put my idea into fruition.”
