After not dropping new music for the whole of 2022, Canadian singer-songwriter Laura Roy puts an end to her hiatus with a brand new offering 'Breathe'.

Far from putting her feet up, the new single marks Laura's first release since receiving two Grammy nominations as a contributing songwriter on Doja Cat's 'Planet Her' album, a triumphant achievement to go alongside the work she's been putting in towards her own music.

Blending her early folk influences with a love of alt-R&B to create a unique, cinematic soundscape, 'Breathe' begins as a stripped-down crooner before punchy percussion and lush string arrangements kick in completing the ethereal anthem.

2023 is shaping up to be another defining year for this amazing talent.
