Jme Jumps on £MONZO's 'S.I.T PT.2'
Fast-rising rapper £MONZO has tapped Grime legend Jme for a rework of her track 'S.I.T'.
Originally created with Amsterdam-based producer and DJ, Lamsi last December, the track was soon snapped up for a remix by Nigeria's SGawD earlier this year.
Now, after racking up over 100k streams, the track is set to reach new heights with a feature from the 'Man Don't Care' hitmaker himself.
"After 'S.I.T' dropped, I would've never thought that Jme would see it, let alone jump on it. It's an honour having a grime legend recognize your talents to the point they bless your record with a verse!" £MONZO said.
South West London's £MONZO is as DIY as an artist comes. Not only does she craft her own visuals, but she produces her own music too. Noting The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Lil' Kim amongst her key influences, £MONZO is fast establishing herself as a key voice in the UK's underground rap scene. "We are finally entering a new era of female rap," £MONZO affirms.
