Idris Jones fuses electronic R&B and UK rap on 'I Need You'
UK based Idris Jones' musical journey is deeply rooted in 2000s rap, hip-hop, grime and R&B. Inspired by US heavyweights like Nas, Eminem and 50 Cent, as well as a range of UK artists, Idris brings some major influences to his distinctive fusion of rap and electronic R&B.
Following his collab with British-Iranian artist Farrah on single 'Good For Me' last summer Idris now goes it alone with new track 'I Need You'.
Priding himself on his storytelling he weaves a narrative through his always emotional and sometimes witty lyrics. With a keen sense of authenticity, his music resonates with listeners, offering a glimpse into his unique experiences and perspectives. Each track is a chapter in his life, drawing from the background that has moulded his musical identity.
'Need You' is soul-stirring soundscape that combines precise beats with the smooth cadence of his vocals and lyrics that explore modern love - a sonic journey that pushes boundaries and leaves an unforgettable mark on the intersection of electronic R&B and rap.
