Dummy Mix 642 | Tibasko
This side of lockdown, British electronic DJ/production duo Tibasko have come into their own as one of UK dance music’s finest. Drawing on a myriad of influences from techno, electronica, gritty bass and melodic breaks, childhood friends Ken Petalcorin and Andy Bowden have garnered supporters in the likes of DJ Seinfeld, The Blessed Madonna and HAAi with their vibrant dance-floor heaters. In line with the release of their new self-titled EP, out today, Tibasko are next up to takeover our Dummy Mix series.
Speaking about their 1-hour tracklist, the boys had this to say: “Featured in this mix is a handful of our own productions that we’ve been shelling out in our sets this summer, including some heavy hitters from our self-titled EP ‘tibasko’. ‘The Limit’ and ‘Almost Falling’ are the final two records to add to the 7-track behemoth EP. We’ve also featured music that we’ve been playing out a lot recently from the likes of Special Request, Tommy2000 and Bailey Ibbs. Ending notably on an unreleased TIBASKO secret too. Get on ya party shoes and lock in for this one.”
