Selector, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jasper Tygner is at the forefront of cutting-edge electronica in London. Shaped by early raving experiences growing up in the city’s bustling underground dance scene, the 25-year-old’s reverence for club sounds from jungle, through to dubstep and garage have proved crucial in the development of his affective, after-hours productions.
Having quickly worked his way up through the ranks to being one of the most sought after composers in the capital, Jasper’s Dummy mix is everything you need to get a sense of his gold-standard taste-making qualities. “I recorded this mix just after my final show of the year at Tola in Peckham. It includes some new artists that I’m excited about as well as a few unreleased tracks of mine that are coming out this year,” he says.
“My top picks are Two Shell and Cameo Blush, who I think are both going to do big things in 2022. Cameo Blush’s track ‘True’ was one of my favourites last year and I’m excited to get into the studio with him soon. As well as some new artists, I’ve included some firm favourites from the likes of Elkka, Ross From Friends, Lone and Facta.”
