Manchester producer Walton has always had an eye for the darker spectrum of dance sounds. Starting out on Hyperdub before becoming a regular on Tectonic, Walton has been making shadowy records that bang for almost a decade. His most recent offering is ‘Depth Charge‘, marking his first release on Munich’s revered Ilian Tape label and his strongest 12″ to date.

Ahead of a 24-hour Ilian Tape takeover this weekend at FOLD, where he’ll be spinning alongside label heads Zenker Brothers plus Skee Mask, Stenny and more, Walton is the next in line in our mix series.
