daine rounds out singles for upcoming mixtape 'Shapeless' with 'portal'

The reigning queen of the Australian hyperpop scene is back and has much, much more on the way.

Yesterday, daine released 'portal', a pulsating electronic pop track that was produced by Waylon Dean and two of her frequent collaborators — Heart Eyes and Lonelyspeck. The song marks her fourth single off of her upcoming mixtape 'Shapeless', which is set to be released later this month on February 24. The album will follow up her 2022 EP 'Quantum Jumping'.

The title track for the upcoming mixtape was released back in November, with daine telling NME, "[The track is] about becoming what people want but using that as leverage to get what you want."
