Brand new programme launched by Mixcloud & N-Studio helps young music creators break into the industry
Mixcloud & N-Studio have come together to present New Systems Academy, a weekend of interactive workshops with Future Bubblers, Foundation FM and M1OnTheBeat, aimed at helping young music creators break into the industry.
As an audio platform with a goal to provide creators with the tools to tackle the ever-changing creator economy, Mixcloud aim to mediate an inspiring weekend, investing in ‘New Systems’ of work and creativity.
Cass, N-Studio Manager says, “We’re so excited to collaborate with Mixcloud on this project, helping the youth and new generation have tools and the knowledge they need to take a step closer to their goals.”
The programme is open to 16-25 year-old music creators at the start of their careers, and will be live-streamed over Mixcloud, taking place from the 13th – 14th of November. Hosted by presenter and Viper Magazine founder Lily Mercer, the weekend will come in the form of Q&As, brainstorms and roundtables. It will cover everything from how to put on safer nightlife events, how to make money via royalties, how to apply for grants, and how to fund your own music business.
