AVA AKIRA's 'Skin' gets treated to a club-ready DJ Kuroneko remix

After kickstarting her 2022 back in April with the release of the euphoric hyperpop track ‘Skin’, London-via-Leeds talent AVA AKIRA returns with the first helping of a brand new remix series based around the single.

Recruiting DJ Kuroneko for the first instalment of the series, the Irish producer and selector has given it a club ready yet ethereal twist, taking the jungle influence of the original and compounding it with thumping basslines, donk influences and glitching vocals, making it the perfect track to kick off the summer season.

A loyal advocate for UK rave culture, taking inspiration from UK dubstep, trance, happy hardcore and beyond when intersecting the hyperpop and emo scenes, Ava Akira’s latest single is the ideal canvas for the underground maverick DJ to twist into another dance-floor heater.
