Pioneer DJ announce series of non-male workshops to celebrate International Women's Day
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Pioneer DJ has announced an upcoming series of beginner workshops designed to give non-males the chance to learn new skills and gain insight into effective ways to pursue a career in music.
International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
Taking place between March 15-19 in London and Manchester, Pioneer DJ’s ‘Start From Scratch’ workshops invites non-males to participate both virtually and in-person in a series of classes, being introduced and taught to DJ by Pioneer DJ staff and a roster of amazing talent.
With 20 places available for each workshop, topics include: An Introduction to DJing, An Introduction to Scratching, an Introduction to Production, and The Next Level – which focuses on career progression in the music industry (DJing or otherwise). Participants will learn to use Pioneer DJ equipment under the guidance of international artists, DJ schools, and Pioneer DJ product experts.
Those who show promise and enthusiasm could be in with a chance of being sponsored by Pioneer DJ through a local DJ school course and beyond.
