Overmono, Kerri Chandler, Jordan Rakei and more announced for GALA Festival 2023
South London's beloved GALA Festival today reveals the full line-up for its 2023 edition, featuring dance heavyweights such as Overmono, Kerri Chandler, Jordan Rakei and many more.
Building on the success of last year’s sold out event, GALA returns to Peckham Rye Park across the May bank holiday weekend (Friday May 26 – Sunday May 28 2023) for their seventh instalment, celebrating diversity within the dance music community with a varied line-up spanning house, disco, jazz, techno, jungle and afrobeat.
Long-term collaborators Rhythm Section have been granted control of the main stage programme on the Friday, welcoming London jazz leader Nubya Garcia and NiNE8 Collective to the lineup alongside Jordan Rakei, dreamcastmoe, George Riley and Romare.
On the same day, West London rapper Jelani Blackman will take to the Pleasure Dome as well as some of the capital’s favourite DJs including Sherelle, Jamz Supernova b2b Tash LC, Felix Hall, Yung Singh and Jungle legend Congo Natty.
Saturday's line-up is equally impressive, locking in a headline performance from London duo Overmono who will be playing fresh off the back of dropping their highly-anticipated debut album two weeks before. It's already hotting up to be one of the shows of the year.
The second day also features UK dance music’s brightest, Anz and OK Williams, early 90’s rave aficionado and Safe Trip label founder, Young Marco, as well as a special live performance from The Orb. Deep house pioneer Kerri Chandler leads a stellar main stage line up on the closing day alongside even more dance music royalty.
Presale tickets go on sale January 31 at 10am only to those who are registered. Sign up here.
