MIKE's new single and visual 'Stop Worry!' enlists Sister Nancy to honour his late mother
New York rapper Mike has shared a brand new single and video ahead of his forthcoming album, tapping up legendary Jamaican dancehall artist Sister Nancy on 'Stop Worry!'.
The new offering honours MIKE's late mother and thoughtfully arrives on her birthday (November 29), shortly on the heels of the 24-year-old's 3-song project with Wiki and The Alchemist which came out last Friday.
Marrying his trademark blunted yet poetic wordplay with the melodies of one of the dancehall genre's most notable icons, the track is a stylish glimpse of what's still yet to come.
Out December 21 via his own label 10k, MIKE's new full-length 'Beware of the Monkey' represents his coming of age project and follows his widely-praised albums 'Disco!' and 'Weight of the World'.
Bringing and end to the longest gap MIKE has taken between recent projects, the forthcoming record is poised to find the most confident and determined version of himself to date.
